For 17 years we have been watching and talking and loving movies and music and everything that is connected in that magic circle.

It was always the idea for DORF to be that small window into the world and a training ground for everyone who wants to express themselves, and now we have never stronger VK young forces – in addition to the already standard Martin and Mirjana, there is the designer Diana Mataković, and the member of the jury is the great actor Domagoj Ivanković.

As DJs, there are Dino and Vanja, more and more active and better, and that makes me especially happy. Lapidarium GMV has become our super place, and Valens and Hang Loose are natural places for after parties.

An even more special story is about the silent film Birti, written by Joza Ivakić from way back in 1929, which inspired the LHD team for the soundtrack, and we can’t wait.

OFF DORF offers Mario Kovač again, this year also as a laureate, and we are looking forward to better and more specific comics about music, edited by Krešo and Tino, we hope there will be more surprises. The Lifetime Achievement Award with a big Thank you for all the great theatrical magic he gave us goes to Saša Anočić, who unfortunately will not be able to receive it, but our humble contribution to preserve the memory of that genius. Mainly: Neko It’s a new time, new technologies in our lives, new ideas of entertainment, a new ghetto where new generations are trying to have fun in these messed up times, but that’s another story.

A young designer from Vinkovci named Diana Mataković is the creator of the graphic DORF visuals for this year.

The visual identity on the site and actually in all other materials is still handled by extraordinary designer Martin Peranović, from Otok.

Young Vinkovci-based sculptor and photographer Mirjana Pjevac is in charge of this year’s festival’s distinctive rewards for laureates.

Saša Anočić, brilliant theatre director, actor and good friend will get the lifetime achievement award from DORF this year,  posthumously. We hope this will keep rememberance and feel good moments about his greatest sides and amazing work, for a little while. R’n’r will never die.

A special DORF award will be given to Mario Kovač for his contribution to the underground this year. Amazing renowned pub quizzer, actor, DJ, doctor of science, screenwriter, chess player, and theater director, leads the quiz again this year and we are sure his best works are yet to come.
