BOOK PROMOTION “TRILOGIJA GUBITNIKA”

The book “Trilogy of losers” presents three dramatic texts by Saša Anočić, one of the most original and significant names in recent Croatian theatre: “The Meaning of Mr. Lojtrica’s Life”, “Cowboys” and “Nobody and Nothing” (or “Mr. Mr. NOUbadi”), based on which they were theater plays of the same name were staged and performed for a number of years, of which the musical “Cowboys” with over 500 performances and 20 awards has acquired a cult status as a kind of theatrical phenomenon that has conquered both the audience and the profession.

ITALO DISCO DJ SET

Italo-disco tunes were played as DJ Ganja and Chempo planned a trip back in time to the 1980s. Young and energetic Vinkovci natives Ganja & Chempo bring the upbeat sounds of Italo Disco into the lives of all lonely people, widows, idlers, party animals, housewives, and everyone else looking to have a good time. POP CULTURE QUIZ

We jokingly discuss movies and music and, as is this year’s award winner for (numerous) his underground contributions, Mario Kovač, a renowned pub quizzer, actor, DJ, doctor of science, screenwriter, chess player, and theater director, leads the quiz. CONCERT – LHD (Sisak)

The excellent surf rockers from Sisak, LHD, who won our hearts with their most recent album “Off The Grid” in the same way that the Bambi Molesters once did, will perform in the Lapidarium of the Vinkovci City Museum as a special musical treat, right after the Closing ceremony and the awarding of 2023 prizes.
