Man. For 18 years we have been watching and talking and loving movies and music and everything that is connected in that magic circle. This year is particularly emotional, we are leaving the nest, that’s it. We also made a real monograph, there are so many great memories and we wanted to preserve for some new generations a small part of what we did all these years. From the first edition, DORF tried to be a small window into the world, a small training ground for everyone who wants to express themselves and send a message with us. Participate.

We showed again with Bosut that there is enough creative potential and passion for another DORF – in addition to the already standard Martin and Alen, there is the sculptor Vjekoslav Živković who creates the award for the best film, and the jury member is the brilliant Marinko Marinkić from Gunja. This year, a lot of regional films have arrived and we are only watching the regional selection, finally. 8 films from Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia and Serbia, and that is particularly pleasing. After excellent summer gatherings for several years at Lapidari GMV, this autumn we are watching movies in the super-new City Library and Reading Room Vinkovci, with Hang Loose as a natural place for after parties. The OFF DORF offer includes an interesting book about Tito and punk, along with even more interesting guests with whom we will present and complete a cool story. Septica is also with us, just like the first one, in 2007 – we will not give up, no! not! not!

The best DORF 2024 film will be decided by Rela Petric (director and editor from Dubrovnik, author of last year’s winning DORF film, president of the jury), Marinko Marinkić (cinematographer and director of photography from Gunja, president of MMC SKIG and vice-president of the Croatian Film Association) and Goran Nježić (musician) , visual artist and filmmaker from Sisak, active on the independent scene).
